Our Team

Nathan Farr

Nathan is a local Architecture Graduate with 15 years experience, which he gained while working for a number of local Architecture practices. During that time Nathan has worked on an array of projects of varying scales, ranging from the smallest residential alterations to large scale commercial projects. Nathan’s greatest satisfaction is in seeing a client enjoying the built work resulting from his designs. In his spare time Nathan might be found surfing off Newcastle, or playing football with mates.

Tristan Parkes

Tristan is an Architecture Graduate with five years experience. He has previously worked at various local architecture firms before The Plan Centre. Along with his thorough knowledge of architecture, Tristan is also well versed in Australian Motorsports and micro-breweries. He has a very busy but enjoyable social calendar and thinks that any design or construction problem can be solved with OFC.

Cliff Princehorn

With more than 30 years experience, dealing with Councils, regulators, and the building industry, Cliff knows all of the dangers and pitfalls to look out for and can guide you towards your goal without all of the stress and hassle. In fact Cliff has been around so long that he is a founding member of the Building Designers Association. When not at The Plan Centre Cliff is doing something aircraft related and pursuing his interests as a pilot. He is even building a plane in his garage.

Mark Gordon

Mark is a born and bred Novacastrian with more than 27 years experience in the industry. Mark’s designs have resulted in hundreds of satisfied customers across Newcastle and the Hunter region, and there is a fair chance that you have been inside a house he has designed. Mark has previously worked for the Government Architects dept. and had a sabbatical working in New Zealand. When not at The Plan Centre, Mark will most likely be found off Merewether beach.

Drew Gunning

With five years of experience as a building designer, Drew cut his teeth working with Mid North Coast Building Designers until he started at The Plan Centre in 2012. Growing up on building sites Drew knows firsthand that an efficient building process is improved by a well documented and thought out design. Drew is currently working on his swing, in an attempt to reduce his handicap and take weekend golf to the next level.
