The design process for Commercial and Industrial Projects will often commence with a viability analysis. Issues such as total construction cost, corporate image, employee comfort and efficient working areas need to be considered. A feasibility analysis will need to be addressed for speculative projects.

• A detailed design brief is prepared in consultation with the client.
• A schematic design is then prepared for further discussion with the client and preliminary discussions with the local council and quantity surveyor.
• The design is then developed for a development application (DA).
• When development consent is received, construction drawings and specifications are prepared whilst liaising with other consultants.
• The documents are then ready for submission to Council for a construction certificate and for the calling of tenders.
